To go not to go to the final Dog Show of 2021 that took place at the Messukeskus in Helsinki. The original Team Dumond was represented by Aleksandra, Amanda, Petra, Johanna, Katja and three of our dogs.

At the end, we walked away with unbelievable results: two titles, two CH ranks and a new Finnish Champion.

During the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the fall dog show in Valmiera was cancelled. However, this year the show was back on and we brought Olya with us.

There were special rules put in place for the show because of COVID-19; we had to be there 20 mins. before the start of the show, we had to present COVID-19 test results, we had to wear masks and when we were done participating in the show for the day, we had to vacate the area. Awards were given outside.

On Sunday the show was outside, we had to shop at Lindex for gloves and hats. Luckily we had a jacket ready for Olya. The weather on Sunday was terrible, cloudy with strong winds.

Amanda and Kira participated in the Finnish-American Society's Match Show. Despite the boiling hot temperatures, the presentation was excellent. Thanks to Amanda, Kira and Aleksandra!

12.6.2021 TUURI, A MILLION DOGS

Finally, 2021's first all-breed dog show took place at Keskisen Kyläkaupan, Finland's largest department store. We stayed the night at the hotel located within the shopping center - great food and great shopping.

The show itself was fantastic, a great start to the show season. Our princess, Silver´Winhunters Alsephina "Olya", had a wonderful performance and received 2nd place. Competition judge was Ville Meronen.

OLya was groomed by Eija Nurmela and presented by the talented Amanda Huhtala.

The puppies have already been reserved!

Åsa immediately took to caring (cleaning, milk) for the puppies, "Lilo", "Sini" and "Viiru". The three have already found homes.

26.2.2021 PEACEMAKER’S NUMBER ONE ”SENTTI” 13 YEARS OLD

Time flies and Sentti turns 13. This carefree lady is doing well, is happy and enjoys good walks. The birthday hero's health checks out and her digestive system works as it should.

Unfortunately, her age has caught up with her. One day the gate was left open accidentally and she ran away and was unable to remember how to get home until a neighbor helped her out.

Happy birthday to Sentti and hopefully there's still many years to come!
